Khatiwada POS SaaS
Started as one browser based point of sale for my family's grocery store in Kathmandu, running on a Raspberry Pi in Sydney. Rebuilt this year into a multi tenant SaaS product: its own cloud VPS, isolated Docker containers per customer, a signed token handoff login flow, and a master dashboard for onboarding new shops.

Zebra TC53 Handheld Cashier
A second cashier front end for the same store, purpose built for a Zebra TC53 enterprise handheld scanner. Keyboard wedge barcode capture, no camera focus delay, an on device Fonepay QR payment step, and a live shared database with the main POS so both tills stay in sync.

Khatiwada Store Website
A separate, bilingual marketing site for the physical shop, distinct product from the POS but sharing the same VPS. Seven product categories with real photography, its own logo and favicon, and its own domain approved through Nepal's Mercantile registrar after a rejected first attempt and a same day resubmission.

U4 · RAM, HOME SERVER
Home Server, Pi 4 Homelab
A Raspberry Pi 4 that started as a university side project years ago, sat dormant for a while, then got a ground up rebuild this year. Now runs a full Docker media stack, Pi-hole filtering 2.4M+ domains for the whole network, a Caddy reverse proxy with clean local domains, and a Telegram monitoring suite of 14 scripts across two bots. Also hosts the Nepal POS in production.

U5 · BMC, WATCHDOG
Homelab Watchdog
A second, independent Raspberry Pi Zero W with one job: watch the home server and say something if it goes quiet. Pings it every 10 seconds over Tailscale, alerts after 3 missed replies, and deliberately stays on its own separate network path so it can still reach the outside world if the main Pi goes down.

Local AI Server
A Mac mini M4 set up as an always on local AI server. Ollama and Open WebUI on an external NVMe SSD, four local models covering everyday chat, coding and multimodal reasoning, plus a Google Gemini connection for cloud tasks, all reachable from any device on the home network or Tailscale without their traffic ever leaving the house for the local models.
